Hello! I'm looking for a few good opinions. :goodvibes

My DH and I are going to WDW in March to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We are looking for a DDP table service option for a slightly more quiet meal, that doesn't involve a suit jacket and dresses. LOL We aren't up for that kind of fancy, but we are willing to use 2 TS credits for the night.

Does anyone have an idea of somewhere that could fit the bill? We are willing to consider inside or outside the parks themselves.

Thanks!!

Cali Grill is great. Great food , nice atmosphere, great service & an Awesome view of the world. Happy Anniversary.:lovestruc

I think Chefs de France is very romantic and beautiful. I love the interior of the restaurant and the beautiful fountain that is right outside. The food is also delicious there, especially the desserts.

I think San Angel Inn in Epcot is very romantic. It doesn't get great reviews here but we loved it. Not your typical tex mex style but more authentic. The atmosphere is just lovely, it is small but you feel like you are in Mexico sipping a margarita at a little place.
Not to mention you can take the little boat ride in the building as a "tunnel of love" moment. Just ask to sit in the back........that is what we did.

We are leaving Friday to spend our 35th anniversary at Disney and we like Narcoossee's and Artist point, both of which are 2 TS credits. There is a dress code, but it is dressy casual.

We're doing Cali Grill for our anniversary dinner and Jiko for my birthday dinner. :goodvibes

my husband and i celebrated our 36th anniversary at citricos(2 credits) at the GF. very nice. the service was excellent and the food was wonderful.:yay:

I would choose California Grill. If you want to spend a bit more then do V & A. I don't think you can go wrong with either place for a secial occasion.

My top choice would be The Bistro in the French Pavillion at EPCOT. It is not, however, on the Dining Plan so if you need some place that is The Bistro would not work.

Next would be the Yachtsman Steakhouse, Jiko and the California Grille. If those were unavailable I'd go with Narcoosee's, Artist Point or Citrico's.

Happy Anniversary!

1) This absolutely eliminated California Grill - WAY, WAY , WAY too noisy.
2) I would recommend Citricos at the Grand Floridian.

NOTE: The problem is you are looking for quiet and romantic while DDP. With DDP, typically there are a lot of kids whose parents don't control them. Also, there are adults who don;t know how to act in finer restaurants. This has sort of killed the atmosphere is the better eateries - unless they are not one DDP, like Bistro.

If you are wanting to definitely stick with a restaurant that's on the dining plan, I would agree with RustyScupper and choose Citricos. It's your best chance of having a quiet meal and Citricos has a nice menu. The only other signatures where you have a better than not chance of a quiet meal would be Jiko and Artist Point. The other signatures are almost guaranteed to be noisy and hectic.

I have to agree on that one! DS and DDIL celebrated their first anniversary at CG, and were very disappointed at how loud and bustling it was. DH and I celebrated our 25th at Artist Point and loved it! We got a great window table, personalized menus, excellent service, and great food. Excellent for a nice, quiet dinner-

wow!! Thanks everyone! I'm very impressed with the list. Now I just have to get the DH and I sitting down alone and able to check out the menus.

Again thank you!! I didn't expect quite this response. :goodvibes

I'm planning on a ADR for dinner at GFC for our anniversary.
I want to order an anniversary cake from the GF Bakery.
The menu looks good.

We are celebrating our 25th anniversary a little different. I've booked a private dining meal at the GF. It's out of pocket but I think after 25 years we deserve it. :lovestruc Congratulations on 15 years!

We just celebrated our 32nd at Teppan Edo for Lunch, and The Wave for dinner. We returned Thursday.

We will be celebrating our 24th when we are there in February... I am going to try for V&A... as far as Cali Grill... there is a lovely wine room in the back of the rest. that overlooks the lake... it only has 4 table in it.... we sat there for DS 16th birthday and it was quiet and beautiful... and our service was excellent.... you might request that... it was like having a private dining room to ourservles....
