My wife and I will be taking a short trip to WDW in mid-June to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary. We will have no kids with us and were looking for a good place to eat the night of our anniversary. We are not drinkers and I am not an adventurous eater (more of a meat and potato type of guy). Any suggestions?

I recommend the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club resort. Best restaurant we've been to on property. Amazing steaks.

We had an awesome Anniversary dinner at Artist Point. From the moment the manager greeted us and led us to our table where our complimentary champagne toast and personalized menus awaited, the entire meal was perfect-food, service, and atmosphere.(The wand was a gift from DH, not AP)-

Definitely Artist Pointe ! Great food, beautiful atmosphere, knowledgable servers, beautiful presentation of food and no rush. Love them!

Jiko was recommended to us as our special night out. But not sure if the menu would be too adventurous for you? But they do have filet mignon on the menu and I'm sure they'd back off of any unwanted sauces. We love the ambiance of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Our adult kids are going to California Grill for their special night out without the kids.

Yea, if you are meat and potatoes guy this is place. Lovely spot in a great hotel and the food is amazing.

Given what you said, Yachtsmans, and Artist Point are very good options. If you like fish, Flying Fish is another good option.
One of our favorites is California Grill. You would have to look at the menu to see if its an option for you.

We are doing our anniversary in Disney this year too. (but we will have the kids in tow) We decided on Ohana. I hope you have a magical anniversary!

Honestly you really can't go wrong with one of the signature restaurants. They are all signature for a reason!

As others have said if you are looking for meat and potatoes, then Yachtsman is a great option and has some of the best steaks I've ever had. California Grill is our all time favorite signature, but it can get a little noisy if that is a turn off for you. Jiko also never disappoints and consistently offers some of the best service we have ever had.

I would say California Grill, especially if you can get a reservation around the fireworks. The food and view are amazing. I would also recommend Jiko, but it might be too adventurous.

I would suggest Capa over at Four Seasons. Pricey, yes, but the food and service are great. They don’t rush you so they can turn the table over. And you can watch both Epcot and MK fireworks.

I’d suggest taking an Uber to get there.

I second Capa. Probably the best steak I’ve ever had. we did the porterhouse for two.

Artist Point, without a doubt. It's one of the most romantic restaurants on-property, IMO. We did Yachtsman for our 19th Anniversary btw, and were underwhelmed. We're headed to Shula's for our 20th this summer!

We’ve had wonderful meals at:

California Grill
Jiko,
Yachtman
Narcosees
Blue Zoo,
Artist Point
Turf Club

Every restaurant offers a steak, and even Jiko has an adult Mac/cheese that’s delish.

Not sure where you landed in your special dinner planning but I am a big fan of reviews on youtube with commentary and dining experiences straight from people who've eaten at the restaurants, you can google most of the signatures and find some good feedback. And what's great is you can see the restaurants first hand if you've never been inside them and see which appeals to you. The DIS has some good ones, I think Tim Tracker and DFB too. I think for our next trip we're going to do California Grill and try to get a fireworks seating time. The music is piped into the restaurant during the show and the restaurant dims the lights so the glare is reduced, it looks so wonderful!! The food looks amazing and the menu looks to have something for everyone in our family. I have read that they have great steaks too.

It’s a lovely restaurant with good food and wonderful ambiance! Enjoy
