Pretend that your kids are back at the hotel with a sitter (hopefully my cousins daughter) and just you and your spouse want to go out for your 8th wedding anniversary. Where would you go? Needs to be on Disney property. Oh and your spouse wouldn't know, it would be a surprise.

California Grille, Easily.

Favorite Nice meal on property! Plus you end the night with wishes on the observation deck, Nothing beats that!!

California Grill. We love CG! We are trying Artist Point for the first time this year. Hopefully we will enjoy it as much too.

We spent our 8th anniversary dinner at Artist Point at the WL.
Kids stayed at the Cub's Den.

We spent our 10th anniversary dinner at Narcoosee's at the GF.
Kids stayed with Nana back home.;)

Both were very good meals.

Happy Anniversary to you.

We spent our 10th anniversary at Victoria & Albert's. The most amazing meal we have ever had.

If you want to do it up big time then I would say V&A's. Otherwise Citrico's or Artist Point.

For me the signatures are over rated.

It would be either Le Cellier or San Angel Inn for us. JMO

1) We prefer
. . . fine food
. . . excellent service
. . . innovative dishes with flair
. . . overall great value
. . . relaxed and soothing dining atmosphere
. . . behaved patrons
2) The only sit-down restaurants we patronize at WDW are
. . . Bistro de Paris (Epcot, France, upstairs)
. . . Citrico's (Grand Floridian Resort)
. . . Shula's Steakhouse (Dolphin Resort)
. . . Il Mulino (Swan Resort)
. . . Victria & Albert's (Grand Floridian Resort)

My husband and I have enjoyed dinners at LeCellier and Jiko. I'd love to try Victoria and Albert's for a special evening too.

It's my 8th anniversary too! Not sure where we'll eat. We're very frugal, so I'm not sure if my opinion matters too much. Mexico in Epcot is romantic. I'd love to eat at California Grill in the Contemporary, but I think it's beyond our price range. We'd feel out of place at V&As.

I've heard that Victoria and Albert's is very romantic, and does not cooperate with children, you would be sure to have a very fun and romantic evening alone :D

We celebrated our 23rd Anniversary there and it was wonderful!

We were in the wine room and there was only about 5-6 tables there. Very cozy and quiet. No kids mostly adult couples and had great service and attention from our server.

Food was excellent.

My husband loves Sushi (I hate it) so maybe CA Grill. There is something there other than Sushi so I will be ok with that. Thanks for all the great suggestions. I think V&A's is way too expensive for me.

We had our 25th anniversary dinner at Teppan Edo in EPCOT because we wanted something different from the usual places.....it was wonderful and we had great tablemates.

If you want intimate, you almost have to eat somewhere not on Disney's dining plan.

In order of preference for romance, I like:

V&A, Bistro de Paris, bluezoo, Il Mulino, Citricos

I also love the food at Flying Fish but would hardly call it romantic or intimate.
