We'll be there with our 2 kids and have several meals planned. I'm wondering which one is best to schedule for our anniversary celebration. Does any place perhaps do something a bit "more" than another? Oh, and I DO realize there is never a guarantee they'll do ANYTHING. So just curious what magic has been done for you at any of these restaurants....

Kona (dinner)
Ohana (dinner)
Crystal Palace (lunch)
Chef Mickey (not sure if bkfst or dinner yet)
Tepan Edo (dinner)
Akerhaus (bkfst)
Biergarten (dinner)

THANKS! Oh and any pictures would be great too!

Crystal Palace decorated our table for our 25th wedding anniversary this past September and also gave us a card signed by the whole gang and a cupcake. Here is a picture of our decorated table:

We had our anniversary dinner (with our kids) at Crystal Palace on November 23. We got the heart on our table like the above picture but no cupcake or card.

On our anniversary trip in February we got free desserts at every Signature Dining restaurant we ate at (except the Brown Derby), and a free dessert at Le Cellier. Other than that, our experience was that regular table-service restaurants didn't do much of anything to celebrate. Not that we expected it, of course! :teeth:

The only time we were at WDW for our anniversary was 1996 - 23rd - and we ate at CM because all the kids were with us and that's what they wanted to do. That was the last vacation we all took together although we didn't know that then. It was the right place to go because we'll never forget it. :cool1:

Oh and we went to the luau the night before and remember that too - the whole family - I overdid it with the mai tais! I still get kidded abou that!

Thanks for the pic! Sweet of them to do that! :lovestruc

We had breakfast at Kona on our anniversary and they actually gave us a free dessert ... we didn't mention it on the reservation but were wearing our WDW anniversary buttons:

Flying Fish gave us two glasses of champagne and a free dessert when we had dinner there.

And I think this came from the WDW Florist or someone we know called Saratoga Springs to let them know we were there for our anniversary - this was delivered to our room:

I hope you have a lovely anniversary and are on the receiving end of some pixie dust. You never know what can happen so be sure to wear your anniversary buttons while you're there! :goodvibes

We got the balloons and card in our room at Boardwalk Villas too. =)

We celebrated our 25th anniversary by renewing our vows at a church in Kissimmee and then having a family luncheon at the Grand Floridian. A few pics of the afternoon activities are in my signature pic strip below. For that evening, the rest of the family did their own thing in Magic Kingdom and hubby and I had a fabulous dinner at Bistro de Paris. We had told them ahead of time that it was our 25th anniversary and they put us at this table that is somewhat secluded in a walled off corner of the restaurant with a fabulous view of the lake and fireworks. It was absolutely wonderful. Dinner was savored... lasting well after Illuminations was done... and the wait staff didn't rush us at all. They brought out each course slowly and encouraged us to take our time. When we strolled out of Epcot, we seemed to have the park to ourselves. It was one of the most romantic nights I've ever had... even counting those in the actual Europe.
