we went for Palo, as it was cheaper. Speaking of Palo and the Fantasy, here is how awesome DCL is. I was feeling a bit ill (new medication) and kept had to go outside for some air a few times during our anniv. Palo dinner. A few night later, the head waiter came to our table and said he heard it had been our Anniv, and could they fix us something special the next night--anything we wanted (including Palo menu) for the regular dining room. We both had halibut from Palo menu. I am guessing that Palo had told him that I was not at 100% when dining with them. Wow.

We have done Remy twice for our anniversary and it is always amazing! We each get a different menu and we share each course so we both get to taste everything. The cheese course and dessert are always incredible as well.

Good luck deciding.

We are going to try to do Palo brunch for our 10 year. I am not an adventurous eater (AT ALL--I don't even like cheese....) so when I looked at the menus I really couldn't find anything I would even try at Remy. What ever you decide will be incredible!

I really enjoy palo on our last cruise we had to leave early as one of our kids wasn't feeling well and we missed dessert. so for the next three nights the called us asking if would like to come back for our dessert. the ended up sending it to our room on the last night.

Given the choice, I'll choose Remy every single time. Not even in the same league for me.

I was a little reluctant about the Remy menu, because I am not a big meat eater, but not vegetarian. However, it was fabulous. It really opened up my palate too. Before, I usually didn't like lamb, but now, I will usually at least try it. Runny eggs, bleh:crazy2:, but not the way Remy does them. It was just all so fabulous, that it made me realize that there were that I liked, if they were prepared well. I vote for Remy. It's the thing that I would miss the most about not being on a DCL cruise.

We did Remy for our honeymoon...it's definitely a lot of (very good) food and a nice, leisurely experience. I consider it to be a "special occasion" place versus Palo which is a "must get my dessert on every cruise" place.

Since this is an anniversary (aka special!), I voted for Remy.
