Anniversary dinner near Disneyland?

Sorry if this has been asked recently, my search didn’t come up with anything, but I’m new to the boards and may have done something wrong.

My husband and I are celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary our first night. We will be staying at the Hilton by the convention center. We wrongly assumed we would be able to easily get a reservation in DD for around 4:00 (we figured, who eats around 4? We only are because we will be on east coast time still!) but there wasn’t much available. Catal is out of our price range.

Is there anything nearby that’s nice, but not $$$? Or especially fun? The only type of cuisine we would rule out is Italian. We will probably be traveling by Lyft.

Any recommendations would be so appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I recommend you look at the restaurants available in GardenWalk to see if anything interests you.
nFuse at the Marriott just across from the Hilton can also be decent. The food is usually pretty good but their service can be slow at times if it's busy. You could even just eat the restaurant in the Hilton and save the trouble of going anywhere.

For fun, depending on what day of the week it is, you could try searching for a reservation for the rooftop bar at the Westin on Opentable around 9PM. Then, at 9:30, you can watch the Disneyland fireworks from there.

Is 8/03 the date in question? If so, I'm seeing 4 PM openings for GCH Craftsman Bar, La Brea Bakery, Naples, Jazz Kitchen, Splitsville, and Tortilla Jo's. Goofy's and Storytellers have 5 PM openings.
In addition to the restaurants at GardenWalk, you might want to look at the Anaheim Packing District.

Thank you! It’s not - it’s 8/2. We were hoping for La Brea, but they only have a 3:15 and I don’t think we would make it with when our flight gets in.

It will be our only table service meal for four days, so we were hoping for something a little nicer than what’s got openings. But we are also just judging based on looking at menus and pictures, so we may be misjudging places!

Average wait time for walk up is 45 mins.
Garden Walk is walking distance with a good selection, I hear good things about Puestos by the Westin

I don't know what your budget is, but I just looked and there's a 5 pm reservation on 8/2 at Storytellers. We had breakfast there and the food was fantastic, so I would definitely want to try dinner.

What about Hearthstone Lounge in the GCH? My husband and I have had many lovely evenings there with a nice glass of wine and a charcuterie board. Shouldn't be an issue getting seated at 4.
