Where would you have dinner on your anniversary and why? We went to V&A last year and it was wonderful, but we would like to try somewhere new this fall.

We are going to Fulton's...both because we love the food and it has sentimental memories for us...we have dined here often...including our first trip to Disney together. Sorry...other than that...we are not much help. DH refuses to do anything "fancy" on vacation--no dressing up allowed. And it suits me fine...as we are very simple eaters--meat and potatos are what make us most happy (with the exception of our seafood dinner at Fulton's).

I would book a dinner at the California Grill (on top of the Contemporary Hotel). If you plan it right, you can view the MK firework show from your table. Great food and great atmosphere!

Most of the Signature restaurants would be great. We rate Artist Point the best in terms of romantic settings. You get great service there, the menu is distinctly different, there's a wonderful wine list and the room is wonderful. Book something for later in the evening - say 8:00 or so. After dinner, a nice stroll around the grounds hand-in-hand. Catch the geyser going off on the hour (but don't be down wind).

Well since no V&A then I saw Bistro de Paris or Jiko. Both are delicious and usually quiet and romantic. At Bistro we try to get a table near the windows to overlook the walkway below. We went to Jiko for the first time in December and enjoyed it a lot. We plan to go back in June and September. Everything from the wine to the apps to the entrees were amazing.

Next to V&A, I like Bistro the best for service, presentation and atmosphere but I probably have to give a slight edge to JIKO for the food. We like the food at Ca Grill quite a bit too but it's too noisy in there to consider it romantic.

What about V&A Chef's Table? It is a totally different experience than the regular restaurant! Other than that, how about California Grill or Artist Point.

I love CA Grill, and though it was noisy, I was able to shut that out.
We also just ate at Citricos and that was nice as well.

We love Narcoossee at the GF and have been there 6 or 7 times in the last 2 years (we try to have dinner there on every trip). The food and service are excellent. The restaurant is at the edge of the lake overlooking Magic Kingdom and the Contemporary. Ask for a table near the window and, if you time your dinner right, you will have what DH and I consider the best view of the MK fireworks. They dim the lights and pipe in the audio. If the fireworks are before or after your ADR, you can watch them from the viranda at Narcoossee.

We LOVE Narcoosees! It's the first place we ate on our honeymoon - so kind of sentimental. But we have been back several times.
We also loved California Grill - especially when you eat late and see the fireworks.

we're celebrating our 10th at narcoosees this trip coming

we love the atmosphere, the views, but especially the food: crab cakes, scallops, lobster and that wonderful almond crusted cheesecake!

and this trip, i plan to order (ahead) a mini castle cake, too!
