Anniversary Cake?!?!

Has anyone ever celebrated their anniversary on the ship? I would like to get a cake for my husband and was wondering if anyone has ever done this. On the DCL website they only offer B-Day and Bon Voage treats..they said the anniversary one is gone. We will be in WDW right before the cruise but I would have to pick up the cake. Already have spa treatments booked in WDW and just wanted a sweet cake. Please help!! Thanks in advance!

Tell your server. They will bring one out at dinner on whatever night you ask them to. Just be sure to tell them the first night. Those are very good cakes by the way.

they're raspberry moouse type cake. rather huge! our ta asked if we'll be celebrating anything special on the cruise, and we mentioned that it'd be our anniversary, but the actual date was a week before our cruise. and she said, don't worry, she'll mention it to dcl. and we didn't even think about it...and saw some people getting b-day cakes/special celebration cakes, and i remembered that we mentioned to our ta about our anniversary. but we haven't see any cake come our way, so maybe they didn't do it for us? anyways, couple days later, our cake came, and it was a total surprise! we ate it, w/our DSs! it was yummy! couldn't finish it, and felt bad leaving it there, so we asked to pack it to go...and they just told us the take it, plate & all! so we had some in our stateroom too!

If you get your cake the first night it is a nice regular type cake with frosting & the white chocolate ship on the top.

Did you have to pay for it? If yes, how much was it?
We will be sailing in 2007 for my inlaws 50th Wedding Anniversary, the entire family 20 people. Would love to get them one.

There is no charge for that cake. You can get it on the first night you sail for birthdays or anniversaries. Just ask for DCL to make note on your reservation that you want to celebrate the event at dinner & which night. It changes to the other cake for the rest of the cruise.

Thank you everyone for all of your help! I was originally going to have it delivered to us in WDW and they wouldn't deliver it unless we were staying at a concerige and this cake is FREE and adorable! THANK YOU!!!! My DH is going to be completley surprised and I thank you all in advance for the look on his face!!
