Anneversary and Babysitting question

Hi,
My hubby and I will be celebrating our 10th anneversary by going to DL May 30th thru June 3rd and will be bringing our 3 year old to make it a family vacation. We took our honeymoon at DL so we want this to be special.

Someone mentioned anneversary buttons? Where do we get those? Do we have to show proof of some kind?

While we do love our son we would like to have a night to ourselves and someone mentioned that Disneyland has a babysitting service?? I have never heard of this. Can someone validate that??

Any special anneversary things at Disneyland to do?

Assuming you're staying onsite, mention it to them either at or before checkin. They should have the buttons for you (they brought out buttons and balloons, including some balloons for DS so he didn't feel left out for our anniversary). If you're celebrating the anniversary, they will help you celebrate. Only this year's special birthday celebration requires proof; everything else is simply based on whenever you are celebrating it.

I don't know about kidcare though; we've had DS with us from our very first anniversary on (honeymoon baby even came with us on our 1st anniv when we picked up our wedding photo album) so we're used to him being with us and haven't yet used any babysitting services at DLR.

If you're staying offsite, just run into City Hall and ask for the Anniversary buttons.

Celebration Buttons may be obtained at any Disneyland Resort Ticket Booth, as well as at City Hall in Disneyland Park, the Guest Relations Lobby in Disney's California Adventure Park, or the Guest Services Desk at any of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.

The Disneyland Resort does not offer in-room nor in-park babysitting services. However, there are a wide range of outside agencies that will provide such services for a fee. These organizations are not related to nor endorsed by the Disneyland Resort.

However, Guests staying at the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort do have access to Pinocchio's Workshop, a Childcare Centre located at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Open from 5 PM to 12 AM daily, space may be booked at any Hotel Guest Services desk. Space is limited.

Cute story about our honeymoon. Our room at the Disneyland Hotel wasn't ready for 2 almost 3 hours after they said it was. I complained that it was our honeymoon and they were ruining it. The CM said she would be right back and upgraded us up to the Honeymoon suite for free. The suite was great. We went to the park that night and when we returned in our room was sparkling cider, and strawberries with whip cream, brown sugar and chocolate with a card from Mickey congratulating us on our wedding.
