:wave2: I am now the heaviest I've ever been (except when I was pregnant). I just recently went up to a size 12 when I was trying to get down to a size 8. I weigh 150 lbs. I'd like to lose 25 lbs., but it seems to be so hard. I love food too much. I find myself eating when I'm not even remotely hungry. I don't exercise because I don't make the time for it.
I am going to be in a wedding on March 3 and I'd like to look nice in my dress (without any of those rolls showing through the gown). I am also going on a cruise in June and I want to look HOT!
I am leaving in two days for WDW and we are on the DDP. I dont' know what to do. I started packing today and I don't have any warm-weather clothes to wear.
I need encouragement.

Hi Anne,

Welcome to WISH! You will find a lot of support and encouragement here. :goodvibes

I see that you are in WDW right now..... How fun!!! :cool1: We just got back from our annual December trip and we had a blast! :Pinkbounc While we were there, we booked a vacation with the dining plan for next year. I'd love to hear your thoughts on the dining plan when you get back. :goodvibes

Again, :welcome: to WISH!

Hi Anne! Welcome!!

I'm sure you're having a blast at WDW right now. I know what you mean about not fitting in your clothes. This time last year I was exactly the same way. My 12's weren't even fitting - and I just didn't want to buy bigger clothes again. It's no fun watching what you eat all the time, and exercising...but let me tell you - it is SO rewarding to watch the scale go down! :thumbsup2

As far as food, it will ALL be there for you (if you want it) when you've lost the weight - to have as a treat here & there. That's what I had to keep in mind as my kids were eating McDonalds or something like that.

Good luck on your new healthy lifestyle! We're here for you!

It also helps to read other WISH journals. They are a GREAT source of inspiration and I've made some really great friends here that have supported me through my journey.

Thanks for the encouragement, Kim and toystoryduo.
We just returned from WDW with the DDP. I let my DS eat my dessert on occasion and I ate his sugar free jello. I didn't eat everything I was given and only ate until I was full. We did a lot of walking (of course) and I maintained my weight. Now it's time to start working on getting the weight down.

Hi Anne. Sounds like you did GREAT at WDW. Keep up the great work!

Oh, and Toystoryduo is Tracy (I think she wouldn't mind me telling that). I know it's easier (at least for me) to use names instead of screen names.

I joined the WISH Weight Watchers thread and am doing WW at home. After the first week I have lost 4 lbs. I am so excited! That group is great! Onward and Downward!!!!:cheer2:

On Monday I had to try on my bridesmaid dress for a wedding in March. I was petrified that it would look hideous and I would have bulges. I actually looked pretty good. The dress has to be taken in. I'll have to try it on again in a few weeks. I wonder if it will have to be taken in any more by then?

I know I can do this. I keep picturing myself lying on the deck of the cruise ship this summer looking good in my swim suit. :yay:

Congrats on the awesome loss!! :cool1: You're doing GREAT and WW is a wonderful plan to help you learn a healthy lifestyle!!

Keep up the good work!! :thumbsup2

Hi, Kim! It's going well. My next official weigh-in is on Monday so I'll see how the weight loss is going. I've been doing great with my work outs and have really cut back on what I eat.
Thanks for asking.
