Someone in the Hollywood industry told me she has a reputation with insiders as a word that would get me points here. Basically she will sleep with anyone who will help her get acting work and advance her career. The whole Ellen Degeneres thing was basically a publicity stunt for her. Who heard of her really before then?

Then she married her ex-hubby and had a kid to prove she is straight again, and marketable as a straight woman actress again.

She left him for her Men in Trees co-star to score that publicity. I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't gunning for Thomas Jane now, the star of Hunk, which she co-stars on, who is in the midst of a divorce from Patricia Arquette. If she's able to start something with him, it would probably help keep her on that show.

So she's gritching and moaning that she has to pay her ex child support? She's calling him lazy because she has to send a check every month? Oh wait.....Isn't that because HE was awarded primary physical custody of the son instead of HER? Since when is it unusual for a parent to have to pay child support to the other parent who has custody? Since when does it make the check-receiving parent a lazy, good-for-nothing to take that check to support that child?

If she was a man calling his ex-wife lazy and essentially a leech for taking child support AFTER he had cheated on her, we'd call that man a pig. Well, oink, oink. That ex may be no prize, but she's a loon. Now she's a loon who badmouths her son's dad on national TV. If she wants to win Mommy of the Year, she needs to clean up her act and try and earn primary custody. But I doubt she's capable of that.

FYI, she didn't get primary custody because her work at the time took her to Canada for long periods of time.

I agree with everyone on here so far-- Heche is definitely in the wrong. I always thought she was an opportunist, especially since she broke off with Ellen Degeneres and announced that she was straight after all (nobody even heard of her until that relationship started). I think the worst part is for her to complain about paying child support. That money is supposed to be for the care of her own kids when they're not in her custody. It almost makes it sound as though she doesn't think they're worth it. I've heard men say the same things about ex-wives, and the first thing that comes to mind when I hear it is "deadbeat parent".

As for her ex wanting her to visit, I'm not sure what to make of that. It could be that he just wants to make things easier for the kids by spending time together as a family, but who knows?
