Anne Hathaway, Gone Forever?

I watched Brokeback Mountain today and oh boy. Will Anne Hathaway ever be allowed to star in another Disney film after exposing her breasts in this film? Will she ever be allowed in another Disney Park? We have been scorned, flashed by Princess Mia.

She was in another very "un Disney" like movie last year called HAVOC. It was rated "R" - Two affluent suburban girls who clash with the Latino gang culture of East LA. There was lots of stuff in that movie that made me think the same thing!

Maybe the quest io should be whether Anne Hathaway wants to be in another Disney movie. She just finished filming "The Devil Wears Prada" with Meryl Streep a few months ago. She's doing fine with her career, Disney or not.

Well, considering that Malcolm McDowell was in a couple rather, umm... not so clean films himself (A Clockwork Orange, Caligula) and then was in Princess of Thieves & Can of Worms, I'd say that there is a possibility she might do another Disney film in the future.

Maybe she wants to distance herself from her Disney past. Because honestly, Disney can't keep her tied down forever. She is a good actress and should have more choices in roles than whatever Disney chooses to hand to her.

If you do an internet search of Kira Knightly, you will find that she has posed for a ton of nude photos. She has appeared nude in several films and yet she is a main character in the Disney Pirates of The Caribbean movies. It makes no difference as long as they don't expose themselves in the Disney family movie.

Anne has said in several magazine articles that she wants to shed the 'princess' image. She really is a good actress. Because a lot of us still think of her as the princess(and a very pretty one), we seem a little scandalized that she would take on roles like that in Brokeback Mountain. I will forgive her though, for doing this, because she is such a good actress. I forgave Julie for her scene in S.O.B., and the same goes for Anne.

I don't recall Keira doing naked scenes in films; I do recall her recent appearance on the cover of Vanity Fair.

The films were done in Europe. I read in an artical that she first posed nude for magazines in Europe at age 15. Life is different over there and her parents are in showbiz. I have no problem with this. I was just trying to point out that Disney doesn't hold this against actors.

I was a bit shocked too to see her bare breasts in Brokeback Mountain. But, I can see why she did it. My guess is she is getting older and doesn't always want to be associated with Disney. I must say though, with breasts like hers why not!
