Just a long shot here for anyone that might live in or near Annapolis.

DS is getting married near Annapolis in October. DD and I need to get out hair done the morning of the wedding. Anyone have a hair salon they can recommend?

I know there is a Hair Cuttery but the reviews were not good and I would like to be able to make an appointment.

The bride is having her hair done by her sister so no help there.

I lived there for a few years, and I would go to Bubbles salon. It's in the mall (which is huge), the prices are decent, and they do a really good job. There are a lot of up scale salons that start at $150 for an updo, those are along the roads that take you into downtown Annapolis. Ulta also has a salon and they do hair really well also.

I can also recommend Prim Salon in Annapolis. They are in the Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole (not too far from the Annapolis Mall).

Where are they getting married and where will you be staying?

They are getting married at Mayo Beach Park, where the South River enters the bay. DD got us rooms at the Holiday Inn Express on Riva Road. It is the weekend of the Annapolis boat show so the bride and groom were not able to get a block of rooms but DD was able to get these rooms with a discount she has through her work.

We live in MD but about 90 miles away so want to stay over.

Sorry I missed this this afternoon - hopefully you're still around. Really like David Alexander Salon and Spa and it's not far from where you're staying. It's not cheap but not too crazy expensive.

I second David Alexander's Salon, it is more than say Hair Cuttery but they're great. Bubbles is also a good choice and I've gotten manis and pedis next door to them several times too (can't remember the name of the place).

Mayo beach is beautiful BTW, we looked at houses in Mayo and one plus for us down there was the access to the park. We ended up moving about 25 minutes away but my DSs schools are right there in Edgewater
