Hi everyone! Our Disney travel dates just shifted slightly, to the point where the MK day when we had our A&E FastPass+ is now our traveling home day. We now have new days at the MK, but there are no FP+ available for A&E. Nevertheless, I promised my two-year-old she could meet them, and we will make it happen!!

Our plan was to go at rope drop and just get in line right away and deal with the 60+ minute wait. However, I just listened to a podcast about the new BOG breakfast and thought it sounded great....so I checked online at was able to find an 8:15 reservation for our first MK day!

With the structure of the BOG breakfast (which I know little about), and on a day that the MK opens at 9:00 AM, does it make sense to grab a BOG breakfast at 8:15 and then try to get to Anna & Elsa? Or am I cutting it too close - we could always cancel the breakfast and just go to rope drop.

We also have a second MK day, so if the BOG-to-A&E thing doesn't work out but you tell me that BOG breakfast is awesome an can't be missed, we can always try rope drop on MK day #2.

Thoughts?

You would probably be fine doing that. It's breakfast, not a 3 course meal, which is good! Worst case, you do A & E the next MK day. You could also go with your daughter and if there's someone else with you guys, they could finish up paying the check and whatnot.
Have fun!

Going to the BOG breakfast puts you in front of the pack at rope drop. Know what you intend to get, walk directly back to BOG, order quickly and be out by 8:45 and you should have absolutely no problem in being one of the first in line for A&E.

Thank you, everyone! Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie, so I'm really excited about the new restaurant. The suggestion about myself and DD leaving while DH stays to pay the bill is a good one. We'll keep the ressie!

OP
this is exactly what we are doing and for the same reason. It seems to be the only way around not being able to get a FP and not wasting precious hours in line. We have 3 MK days and 3 breakfasts. If done properly you can be out of Fantasy land in no time and go have another land to yourself for an hour or so.
