Anna & Elsa M&G ?

My plan on Monday 6/29 is to start in DL since we do not have EMH. We will be there at rope drop (it is just DD and I the first few days, unless my brother joins me). DD has an appointment at the A&E boutique at 12:30. My plan is to do Dl for the first two hours. Go over to DCA and get a FP for the M&G that takes place after her appointment and grab some lunch before the makeover. Will they give us a specific return time if we request it? I thought I read somewhere that you can return anytime after your return time...is that true?

I can't answer about returning after your time slot but I don't know how you could get a specific time. You got what came out of the machine. There was no one there to ask for a different one.

Unfortunately you cannot request a return time. The A&E FP/RT works just like a regular FP in that you go up to the machine, insert your ticket, and it prints out your FP. Whenever I've gone, there are usually CMs nearby (in case the machine has issues), but they can't change the return time. It's worth asking the CMs about returning outside your window, but the last time I went, you had to return within your window (the Olaf M&G that allowed late returns when he was using the pager system, but he's also gone to the FP/RT system).

Thanks for the clarification Figment_jii ~ I think I was viewing it like the RSR FP days where a CM was there at the machine.
Do the FP's run out these days by a certain time? I am just wondering if I am there at say 11am, about what return time am I looking at? I wonder if it would be better to just grab one after the makeover. Is there a good app to check the return time status? I miss My Disney Magic.

It might vary, but when I was there last (Memorial Day weekend) there were CMs standing around the machines (kind of like they do for the F! FP machines), but you put your ticket in and got the FPs. When they were first starting out, I think the CMs helped guests because the machines are a little different than the traditional FP machines. In terms of whether they run out or not, I don't know anymore. They had them for quite a while during Memorial Day weekend, but I don't recall when they ran out. Unfortunately, like the other disconnected FPs, Ask Otto does not provide the return time information for A&E.

We didn't have a very long wait between the time we could go in and the time we grabbed a FP. We got both Olaf and A&E quite close together so we went from Olaf right to A&E. It was a fairly crowded day too. We didn't pull the FP till just after lunch.

Thanks Angi! I hope for the same thing. I figured it would be best to try and get into both M&G's after her makeover. I wasn't sure how popular it is nowadays.
I am bringing the Anna Coronation dress, since she wants the Anna hairstyle. I am just hoping they can pull off the hairstyle. DD just had 10 inches of her hair cut off last month. Now it is right at her shoulders..

I recommend pulling your FPs for the meet & greets after the appointment. I don't think the M&Gs are as crowded now that they've been established for awhile and many have had the opportunity to do it already. The length of the appointment and getting back into the park may take longer than you anticipate so I would wait. Appointment, grab FPs, lunch, then return time for M&G is probably what will work best. My girls loved their A&E makeovers by the way. Enjoy!

We were there last week & our A&E fp was for about 30 min after we pulled on Tuesday at about 9:30. I would definitely wait till after the appointment. As for Olaf, we happened by his area about a minute before he was comin out, got behind 2 groups and waited 5 min. No FP needed, just good timing.
