I was also there at RD this morning, non EE day.
We were second in line at the turnstiles, and when we got through we went to the left of the partners statue. No CM holding a sign (although ticket CMs had mentioned to look out for one). We had someone come up about 5 minutes before park open and instruct us to walk to the meet and greet area- the first 40 or so would be able to meet Anna and Elsa right away and the rest could meet a cast member (directly across from Casey's Train and in front of the restaurant) to get a FP to come back and see them at a designated time.
I will say- it was intense. I saw adults full out sprinting, dragging their little princesses along, losing shoes, pushing in front of other people, etc... We were going to grab a FP (the line to get them wasn't very long) but people didn't realize you could queue to meet them right then so my Dgf and I hopped in line and were maybe the sixth family to see them. We did have a very insistent person behind us that hadn't stuck together with their party- (three people in front of us that went with three people behind us) and they were rather curt with getting in front of the two of us. (Wasn't a big deal in hindsight but it just really rubbed me the wrong way.)
We got our photo- and we are going to use it for our Christmas card. <3
(Also we disneybounded as Sven and Kristoff)
MY ADVICE: If you are looking to get a FP- if possible have a "runner" that will enter the park first. Once everyone in your party has gone through the gate- give them all of the tickets and send them down main street to go find the FP sign/ wait at the rope. Have them grab your FPs for you- not everyone needs to be present- but they need your tickets. If you happen to notice they are taking people in the stand by line and if you have your entire party together- go ahead and wait in line. We were out by 8:20 AM.
