On Tuesday, May 31st (day after Memorial Day):

We have an ADR for BOG at 8:40. I'm hoping to show up at 8:00 and be let in simply because I have an ADR before park opening. If that's the case, I think I should be able to easily get to A&E before park open, therefore not wasting a FP+ on it. The boys in the family want to ride Space Mountain first thing anyway and we don't.

Think this will work or should I go ahead and get a FP+ just in case?

We were there during Xmas week and I couldn't get a FP for A&E. We went to the park 30 minutes before opening and ran over there to get in line. We stood in line for about 25 minutes and got to meet them just fine.
