Anna elsa dilemma need advice please

long time lurker, first time poster... We are preparing for our first fastpass plus trip, and I'm facing the below scenario. I'm looking forward to the experts input.

We will be in mk on saturday, 5/24. Meeting anna and elsa is the top priority of the day. We currently have fastpasses to meet them at 920 pm.

Should we keep the fastpasses and just keep checking for a new opening earlier in the day or cancel the fastpasses and go to meet them at rope drop?

As I understand things, if we keep them, we will not be able to exhaust our initial 3 fastpasses and gain the benefit of additional fastpasses that day. For that matter, on the Saturday of memorial day weekend, how many will really be available anyway? If we go at rope drop, we will likely burn that first valuable hour standing in line to meet them.

Neither is ideal. Opinions please.

One last related question...if we keep the 920 fastpasses, it may preclude us from watching wishes from in front of the castle At 1000. We've never seen them from anywhere else. Any recommendations?

I would keep them, keep checking for an earlier time, and make a last minute call that day depending on how you are feeling. You can always decide to go there at rope drop and then cancel the Fp for later and pick up another in park. Or cancel the night before if you decide to rope drop and pick up something else.

Also try searching for earlier times one by one instead of for the whole party. If you can get over lapping times you can all go in together.

You could try to see them at rope drop...if you get to MK by 8:15 (for a 9am opening) and get near the front of the pack rushing down main street behind the rope....you will probably only have a 15 min or so wait....we did this twice in November....of course it is Memorial Day, but I would think it would still work.
