They did sell them at Epcot...but they are in short supply these days because they are apparently snatched up as soon as they appear. Especially Elsa. Good luck.
Yes, the Elsa ones are pretty much impossible to score, and the Anna ones not much easier. While in Epcot earlier this month, my daughter and I watched them stock five Anna costumes and three of them were snatched up by the time we left the store five minutes later. It was pretty nuts.
We were there last week. Not a single costume for either Anna or Elsa to be had.
We were there the night in Norway when they stocked some Elsa shirts and Olaf shirts... they were pretty much gone by noon the next day. Norway was the ONLY place I saw anything related to Frozen.
I asked at Bibbiddi Bobbiddi Boutique, since they will get the costumes first - and they had no set date for when they would be back in stock.
Keep checking disneystore.com as well. They will come back in stock there at some point as well. They are different from the park dresses, but still very nice.
We are here now and there is nothing to be found. We asked at MK and DTD and the only things available at DTD were a frozen book/magnet toy set ( which we bought and the magnets dont work at all), some Golden Frozen books, and a few Olaf tshirts, that was it, Disney def missed the boat on this one. I'm glad I snagged a tshirt at Target before we left home.
Not familiar with the costumes sold at Disney so I'm not sure about authenticity and quality of the ones on Target website but I did see both available last night.
On Feb 18, DH and DD hunted the stores in Epcot for either costume and was finally told by one of the shops, not sure which one, that the costumes are out of stock and they aren't expecting to get them in until the end of March.
Even our Disney store at home is out of stock except for the $200.00 Anna dress they had a couple of. DH said the Anna dress was gorgeous and for $200.00 it better be.
This is really getting discouraging!
I am trying not to let the lack of merchandise get to me, because in the scheme of things it's a bit trivial, BUT- costumes for a 3 year old is better than a winning lottery ticket (for her, not for me! lol) and the hunt is the fun part. Knowing that there's nothing to buy for her actually IN Disney is a bit sad.
