I just stumbled across that this exists today. Has anyone done this? How does it compare to BBB? I have a Frozen obsessed 6 year old, however, I still like all the extra's at BBB. Price is not a factor. Any suggestions?

DD6 LOVED this. She did the Elsa coronation hairdo, and besides being $20 cheaper than BBB, the hairdo was much cuter. Only downside for me was that it's crowded and loud and busy because it's Frozen and everyone loves Frozen! They also don't have PP+ photographers there like BBB does. I think we both prefer it over BBB, and DD has asked to go back to it again this summer when we're there!

All 3 of my DD's loved it. Agree with everything DharmaLou said- I think the hairstyles are so much better than BBB and its cheaper. It can be a bit nutty but if you're staying on site, look for special 'pre-opening' hours to make an appointment before the boutique opens. This was SOOO great. I posted about this in another thread this past week (also has photos of my girls after).

I haven't done BBB, mainly because I don't like the hairdos, but my dd3 looooved A&E's so much. Though I agree it can be crazy busy, it was fantastic. She chose the Elsa and it looked so cute! We got lucky the day we went, it was busy in the back section where they do styles, but we were the only ones at the middle section. My daughter truly thought she was a princess when we left that place. If they offered the frozen styles at BBB (they definitely should), we would gladly go there and pay a little more for the princess ambience.

Thanks guys. I'm still stuck on the extra's at BBB. But, it's not for me right?

What extras are offered atBBB? I was looking into BBB and it seemed like you got less for mor money. What am I missing?

I would not count on all the extras at BBB, in January when my sister took my niece, they no longer took pictures when the hair is getting done and if you have photo plus you still have to pay for then to do special pictures. So I think the only extra you get is the little backpack, because the hair and nails get done, I think you can by and or dress up at e&a, you get sparkles. So I don't know what more you would get. We never did e&a but in April we are going to.

At A&E they also give you a little gift bag with the makeup, nail polish, comb, and brush used during your session and give you extra bobby pins as well.

My DD is 8 and really enjoyed the Disney 365 treatment. Is there nothing like it anywhere anymore??

The Anna & Elsa Boutique took the place of Studio365. At least one of the hairstyles at A&E is the same as the old Studio365 style (was called Color Cue for 365, is called Cool as Ice for A&E). I think the girls Olaf one is similar to one they used to have too (comes with a fascinator etc). Overall I think the experience is pretty similar to what Studio365 used to be except that Frozen is on a non stop loop, the store is full of Frozen merchandise and they have the kid say "Let It Go!" as they spin them around to show them their makeover.

This is Cool as Ice (they have lots of color streak choices- not just 'Frozen' colors)

I VERY HIGHLY recommend the A&E Boutique for any of our Frozen obsessed Princesses. I took my DD5 in for 5 PM on Feb 26th (Thursday evening) and did not find it overly busy at all. In fact DD was the only one getting her hair done the whole time we were there.

I liked that we got the gift bag of make-up, brush, comb, and extra bobbie pins after.

I was able to keep her style in for a week so she was able to show it off at Kindergarten when we got back home.

No they do not do PP pics, but I was able to take a variety of images including before, during and after.

Well worth the money, and I would go here again for sure.

My daughter loved this boutique! We always have gone to, in the past, the BBB. I would say that the BBB has a more magical Disney feel. However, a 6 yr old won't notice that difference. My daughter is also 6, and she likes the two places the exact same.

How is the hair the next day? Is the hairstyle still in place or does it come out? Hoping to maybe get two days out of it.

DD9 got 3 days out of her Elsa hairstyle. DD5 and DD3 wanted to take baths that night so their's got washed out but the DD5 Elsa would have lasted fine. Less sure how well the cool as ice would have lasted but would have probably been OK for at least one more day.
I just took DD3 again 2 weeks ago and she got Elsa this time and again we were able to make it last three days with a few touch-ups. Her hair is short so I did have to redo the bun part but it was pretty easy.

My little DD5 would not let me wash her hair until she could show it to her friends in Kindergarten. So, I did morning touch-ups as required, and at night used the shower-cap and we did get it to last for 7 days, and once she showed it off at school, it was bath time and everything washed out nicely.

(she would have baths but would not allow her hair to be touched until her friends saw her Elsa hair)

One thing I have learned in my almost 59 years, do not argue with a female regardless of her age. You will lose (unless you yourself are also a female which means you will have a better chance of winning a argument with a DD...but guys...don't do it...give in...and then you can say you win even when losing....lol)
