At wdw now and tomorrow is morning EMH at Epcot 8-9. What time should we get here to try and see them without a ridiculous wait. I don't mind an hour or so but 4-5 is a bit much. I didn't think about booking breakfast to get in early. Do they let you into worlds how case at 8 or do you have to wait until 11:00?

The World Showcase doesn't open until 11, but you can get into Norway (where the Frozen girls are) as soon as Future World opens (9am usually, 8am EMH.)

You will want to get to the park a good 30-45 mins before it opens (7:15-7:30 AM at the latest) so you can be one of the first allowed into the park for EMH. (These EMH days are WORSE than regular days since more people take advantage of the extra hour of park time when it comes to this very popular meet and greet.)

Someone else will have to let you know for sure if they start their meet at 8AM for EMH or 9AM (I think it's 9AM) but either way you will want to head straight back to Norway as soon as physically possible. Many people will be RUNNING. Get there!! (Even if you just send one person from your party ahead to hold a space for your larger group.) IF you manage to get there ahead of the crowd, you could have a short wait (relatively speaking.) Meaning, if they begin at 9AM, you might wait an hour and a half (from 8 am to 9:30ish) Not counting the half hour or so outside the gate (if that all makes sense.) If you don't head STRAIGHT THERE (and FAST) the wait will very, very quickly mount to 3 hours.

Do you think it'd be better to go on a non-EMH morning. We're here all week. Trying to convince DD to wait til they move to MK so we can get a fast pass+ we live an hour away

Definitely wait for Fp+. On a non-EMH, you are looking at long waits if you don't run to Norway. On an EMH morning, you have an automatic one hour wait even if you ran and were the first in line. EMH just extends your wait by an hour.

If you and your DD aren't able to run, Fp+ at MK is your best option.

We are staying on property this week so that why we were thinking of taking advantage of EMH for the meet and greet. Doesn't make a se to me why it would be worse, the same or slightly less people getting there for 8:00 opening as opposed to 9? Am I missing something?

Just bumping this thread to see if OP tried to get to Anna and Elsa at emh and if so, how it went

EMH can be worse if:

1) You booked the Akershus breakfast to try to get to Norway ahead of everyone else, and you've got a time that won't get you in before 8.
2) You're not eligible for EMH.

If you're eligible, and you didn't do Akershus, it's better than trying to show up at 9 because you're only competing with other EMH guests. Not that there will be any fewer of them trying to get to Norway as soon as the gates open. It's going to be the same stampede, just at 8 with resort guests instead of at 9 with everybody. There may also be Akershus guests there who got in before 8 (they either skip the breakfast to get in line, or have one person skip the breakfast to get in line, or they trade off being in the line.) If you can't enter until 9 on an EMH day, forget about it. There will be at least a 3 hour line by the time you get there.

Above valid until April 20 when A&E move away to the MK.

Fail :)
We got there at 8 and I ran to Norway. Problem was the line to get in the park was loooooong. I got to Norway at 8:08 and the line was estimated at 2.5 to 3 hours starting whenever Anna and Elsa started greeting. I was awake before the sky was awake so I should've gone then.
We went to he store and got a picture of them from the exit ha. My DD is awesome, she told me last night she was good waiting til we can get a fast pass, but that just made me want to do it today for her more.

On the bright side, we did al the Epcot rides we wanted to including test track twice and had lunch, before leaving at 11:30.

We will wait til the move to MK to meet Anna and Elsa.

Oh no! :( looks like we are going to have to get there super duper early our Epcot day since there is no morning EMH that day only a night one. And of course we leave the 19th. Had I known they were moving over the day after we leave I would have extended our stay by a night lol

If everyone is entering at the same time, it's all going to depend on how many guests enter ahead of you (it appears a lot of those entering at park opening are headed straight to A&E). So the earlier you can get there, the better, whether you are there for morning EMH or not.

Thanks for the update, sorry your DD didn't get to see them. Do you think it would have made any difference if you got there say at 7:30 instead of 8?
