I'm trying to plan our trip and I just can't decide what to do about the Anna/Elsa M&G. I really don't want to wait for 3 - 4 hours to see them, but I will if my daughter just has to. My question is if anyone has had any success going later in the afternoon? Is the wait time more, less or pretty much the same as when you go at RD? About how long is the wait in the afternoon? I have been trying to get Akershus ressies, but haven't been able to score!! Also, does anyone know about what time they start cutting people off from getting in line? Sorry for all the questions, but I am trying to form some sort of plan. :worried::confused:

At this point in time I think your only option for a short wait, (and by short I mean under 2 hours), is to be at the very, very front of the RD pack and literally run back there, or to keep trying for that pre-9am Akershus reservation.

Yesterday it was supposed to rain in the afternoon so everyone ran there in the morning, the wait was 5 hours. Guess what,it rained in the morning. In the afternoon the wait shortened to 2-3 hours, no rain. Everyday is different. The game might change a little next week when Anna and Elsa start appearing in the MK parade. A wave and a smile in the parade might be enough for some kids and the line might get shorter.

So last week on our trip even though my DD is a Frozen nut we were not planning on seeing them due to the wait time and only spending a short amount of time at Epcot on our trip but we just happened to hit the timing perfect right after a huge rain we walked up and had under an hour wait. The CM there told us that in the morning before the rain it was a 6 hour wait!
