I counted down the days until I could do my FP+ reservations. I logged in at 11pm central on the day.. I started at the last day we were going to the MK and could only get a 7pm FP for Anna and Elsa. I took it and then checked the other planned day for the MK. None available at all :( I have 2 8am BOG breakfast. I was planning on using one morning for a 7DMT ride. Are my chances good of getting Anna and Elsa right away without a long line, or is it a waste of time and I'm stuck with the 7-8pm time?

Assuming NOT on an 8AM opening or AM EMH day... head to their Meet right after BOG.
Under "average" conditions, you should not have to wait more than 30-45 minute, give or take.

I feel your pain. My window opened today about 15 minutes ago and I needed Anna/Elsa for the last day of my trip - Sept 11 - I didn't have any luck with it :-( Thankfully I have an early BoG breakfast too so hoping to head straight there from breakfast.

I'll give it a try after our first breakfast.. I was surprised at the lack of availability at 60 days out right when my slot was released. I know those that arrive earlier than I do will have had first pick, but still...

We had a very small pick of A&E times on our MK days, as well, with a seven day trip. I think unless you're going for ten days or longer, it's just going to be dicey getting those FP- availability is so limited, compared to ride capacities.

I would also keep looking.

I was able to change mine from the evening to earlier in the day at the 45 day mark in April 2015. I assumed that was because people were cancelling their vacations and FP.

keep checking - I booked our FP last night....previously I was checking the dibbs site (listed in Mesaboys big FP post) keeping an eye on Anna/ Elsa availability. There were multiple days around the 30/45 day mark that had openings (I'm guessing some folks canceled their bookings when payment was due).

If you don't get FPs and are looking for an alternate strategy, the A&E line is open until a half hour before park close. On a recent visit just before 11:30 pm, the actual wait for A&E was 10 minutes with a posted wait of 90. Over at 7D, we found an actual wait of 5 minutes with a posted wait of 65. This allowed us to visit A&E and ride 7D twice in about a half hour.

Not a bad use of time in my opinion.

I don't understand why Disney doesn't just add Anna & Elsa M&G at different parks (so to have multiple ways to see them instead of just MK). Seems like that would cut down on the line times. Reading all of these threads I'm already stressed trying to get this FP for my children at my 60 day mark.

I am getting really nervous about getting A&E fast passes in a two weeks. I am going to try for our last day, which is day 7 of our trip, but my kids go to bed at 7pm (get up at 6am with their silly internal clocks), so too late in the day won't work for us. We are also a group of 7, but could make it just 4 going to meet the girls. If we cannot get them I might have to try for a BOG breakfast ADR, but then that will be impossible to get, too. Sigh,

They are certainly in very high demand with limited supply. We're going 9/4-9/13 (9 nights) and I have some family members arriving a couple days later. When I booked my FP at 60+9, the first couple days had no A/E availability, the middle of the week only had later afternoon and evening times, but I was able to get them for later in the trip (9/11) at the time we wanted (11ish).

By the time the rest of our group was able to book FP just two days later, the earliest available in 9/11 was around 4pm, and now it looks like they're completely gone.

Just insane that there's still so much demand that these would be gone so quickly at 60+ days out. Unless you're booking a longer trip (7 days or longer), it's pretty tough to get any A/E FP that aren't in the evening, if you get them at all.

They're working on it at Epcot, right? Isn't that part of the Norway construction?

Though, I want to mention that I got A&E on my first choice of days at 37 days out. So it's not that difficult to get.

So I booked our fast passes 10 days ago (granted its end of summer so less busy) stayed up till midnight got everything we wanted including tons of SDMT. Didnt really think we wanted A&E this trip, but saw a decent amount available. Told the family next morning at 7 am and they said if we could get one go ahead and book it so went back and got one for mid day on a Saturday. Of course it depends when you are going or how long but they arent completely gone when your 60 day rolls around. Christmas week probably not a ton available but for a week trip in September you probably will be fine.

This is, of course, the only one I am worried about. If we can't get it we'll be those crazies running straight there at RD.

I posted asking for advice about this exact dilemma yesterday! We're in the same boat as you - the earliest FP available at midnight when our window opened was 7 pm our last day in MK, on a day we were originally planning to call it quits after the 3:00 parade. We also have a pre-opening BOG breakfast reservation that morning. I'll be looking (hoping!) for an earlier time to open up, but if not, we're going to keep our 7 pm FP slot and plan to rest and recharge a bit in the afternoon (we have two young kids) and then head back to the park for the A&E meet and stay for some of the night time entertainment. If we're done with breakfast in time and it looks like there isn't a huge crowd at the rope before opening, then we may attempt to do standby. But I don't really want to race everyone through breakfast all stressed out about trying to avoid a long standby wait. It will mean the world to my girls to meet A&E, but I don't want to make us all crazy or exasperated about it if that can be avoided. ;)

We have 8:05 BOG ADR. Park opens at 9. Just wondering, how could there be a 30-45 min wait if the park hasn't opened & no EMH? Is it due to other restaurant guests with early ADRs trying to do the same thing?

Does anyone know what the fastpass lines are typically like for them? I feel like the regular lines get so long, and don't want to wait too long in fastpass lines too..

FWIW - I have found the opposite to be true. Only resort guests can book FP+ at 60 days and there are a limited # of rooms. Free dining in the off season entices people to stay on site. So, you have about the same # of guests booking FP+ at 60 days ahead no matter what time of year it is.
But, September has shorter hours + MNSSHP which greatly reduces the regular operating hours of MK and therefore the # of FP+ available. OTOH, during the holidays, MK is typically open at 7am every day until at least 1am.
I went last year from Dec. 23rd - Jan. 1st and booking FP+ was extremely easy. I had my choice of times for A+E for every day of my trip.
I also think that a higher % of people 'in the know' travel in the off season. I found that there were a ton of international tourists over the holidays and many, many people did not make their FP+ until arriving at the park. JMHO:-)

2 questions: How do you "keep looking" w fp+? A&E were gone so sadly I just booked other things and filled up my 3 per day. To look for other things it wipes out what u have. Right? So being so close to my date, I don't want to lose at least the ones I do have.
Also has anyone used the BOG early breakfast and then headed to A&E? That has been my plan. If you have done this, how long have you waited?

Go to the Fastpass page on MDE and select "update an existing fastpass." Pick one of your three existing fastpasses and click "change this experience." If Anna/Elsa is available, it will show up as an option on the list of attractions to change your FP to. If it's there, clicking on it will show up what times are available, and then you can switch it. Note: doing this will NOT undo your existing fastpasses until you actually make a time selection for the new experience and click "update."
