Anna and Elsa FP gone at 12 Eastern Time

I was able to book FP+ for July 1 last night for our party of 8. I booked these at 9:00pm pst (12am est). I just checked a few minutes ago and there are several time slots that I could change to if I wanted to.

Pretty simple. Your 1st day is someone else's 3rd day, and another person's 4th day, etc..... People have been booking that date for at least a week before it was your turn.

Sent from my IPad using DisBoards.

:thumbsup2 I just tried to explain this on the ADR board to someone about BOG. I had to go to day 10 to get it. I guess I should have no problem getting A&E by my 10th day? I didn't realize that FP+ was as crazy as ADR's. I will be ready at 60 days then.

Only A&E FPs are this crazy :). Not anything else!

Keep trying, I spent a couple of hours off and on, a couple of evenings in a row and one opened up for us. Then snagged another when browsing through our fast passes - pure luck! My son grabbed one today at supper too!

Got this beauty today, made it alllll worthwhile :)

So Sweet!!!!!

Can someone clarify this for me? I am staying offsite and our first day at WDW will be June 27th at HS and then we will be going to MK on June 28th. I know I can only book 30 days out but why are people saying you can book for your whole trip? We are spending June 28th and July 3rd at MK so my understanding is that I can't book E&A FP+ until May 28th and June 3rd. Am I correct with my understanding and if so why are people having more luck later in their trip?

If you stay onsite, you can book for your first day plus the next 10 days as 60 days out.

To clarify for the OP, several people have posted the same problem (can't get A&E for the first day of our trip). A reason is anyone that checks in, say 1 day, before you has the ability to log in before you and book it for that day or any day of their own stay. The solution is to try to book it for late in your trip. You will be competing with fewer people.

*disclaimer: this isn't directed at the person I quoted..

I am remembering discussions of concerns with popular fp+ becoming like adrs, where you'd have to book at exactly 60 days and even then you would have to try and book for late in your trip, just like booking for BOG.

I am also remembering being told that that wouldn't happen with fp+, that attractions have much more capacity than a restaurant, that you'd be able to get anything at 60 days out without a problem or needing to know any "tricks"

What I quoted sounds an awful lot, to me, like the same situation as BOG...book exactly when it opens, and book for as late in your trip as you can.

Eta: please don't misunderstand..I'm not saying fp+ is bad in this case. I would MUCH rather do this online frenzy than have to deal with the stampede of people down main street that I saw in Josh's video the other day! At least if I don't get a fp+ for them, I know just to avoid that area completely at rd.

Just so I'm clear, if you are staying offsite this situation of booking near the end of your trip does not apply and you can only book 30 days out 1 day at a time? If I book my first FP+ day for HS on June 27th will it then open up the next 5 days since I have 5 day passes linked to my account?

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think offsite guests have to book each day as it reaches the 30 day mark, just as they do ADRs.

Thanks! I thought this was the case but I wanted to ask just to make sure I didn't misunderstand something. Thanks again!!
