Bringing our girls to MK in September. I am wondering about meeting Anna and Elsa. Is it a long wait? Where are they? Any suggestions and thoughts are appreciated!!

We are going end of September and got FP for meet and greet, they were very limited

If you have tickets already, they are a scheduled meet and greet that you can get a fast pass for. (FP+, you reserve in advance through Disney's site)

If you are staying on site, go to Disney's site right now and try to get passes.

Otherwise, check to see if you can get passes repeatedly and often if you care.

It is hard to get, and you may easily end up waiting an hour or two. They are in "princess fairytale hall" basically right behind the castle.

The earliest we could get our fast passes was 11pm last night. Anna and Elsa was not an option for some reason. Well, it was an option (or a picture there), but we were not able to select it. I am confused.

I am confused. We arranged our fast passes at 11 pm last night. There was a picture of Anna and Elsa as an option, but could not select it.

That's probably because Anna and Elsa fast passes are likely long gone for your trip, as they are insanely popular right now. I know our 60 day window opened the other week and my friend was searching for her entire stay and there was absolutely nothing (she was checking at 5 a.m.) I was able to get it, but I got it toward the end of my trip and I was on as soon as the fp window opened.

I've not experienced this stuff before, but I would say keep trying!

People who are staying onsite can book FP at 60 days for the length of their trip. If you are trying at 60 days or 30 days (if not staying onsite), the FP are LONG gone. It showed grey because they are no longer available. If you were searching for a group, you can try one by one to see if you can get overlapping times. Otherwise, you have to keep checking and hope that someone cancels.

They were def gone. We got in at midnight.
Got Anna and Elsa at 230 on our last day Friday.
I was on magic kingdom again at 1216 and all Anna and Elsa were stand by line.
Went so fast.

Anna and Elsa are definitely popular right now! You may have to wait in the standby line, but if you arrive at Magic Kingdom by 8 AM, and hurry straight to Fairytale Hall when the park opens, you are likely to experience less of a wait. It may be over an hour even at opening though! Have a magical trip! :goodvibes

If you're really determined to see Anna and Elsa (frequently referred to on here as A & E), then I'd suggest staying tuned to this forum. Disney seems to know that the popularity is out of control, and they have experimented with new ways to run the line, etc. There is also a possibility of adding a second meet & greet location to Epcot sometime in the fall. I'm also going in September, and the fastpasses were all gone by the time my 60 day window opened up. Just tonight, I was able to secure just one...a single fp+ for me. Now I'm trying to get one in the same or overlapping time frame for my daughter.

This board has lots of tips on how to try to get a fp for A&E. It's become a bit of an obsession for me!

I'm so sorry you don't have the FP for Anna and Elsa, but I'd like to share a couple of thoughts as I have been researching this for months for my autumn trip. I tried to book at 60 days out at midnight and could not get them, but I kept checking and was able to book for all of us. Try checking one at a time, and if you find anything on a day that works for you, take it. Then try to keep adding other family members and eventually you'll be able to overlap them. This strategy has worked for a lot of people. It does involve checking for FP frequently, but people do change their plans and cancel them sometimes.

Other option is to be at MK at rope drop, head straight to Anna-Elsa (make sure you know where you are going so you can be quick), and get in line. I've heard of waits less than 20 minutes with this strategy.

Good luck! I hope this works out for your family.
