Not fake, but not open to the public either. It is a private event offered by a group of travel agencies (although currently it appears to be open to anyone and not just clients of these agencies). So this one cannot be laid at the hands of WDW "money grubbing" as the price is not out of line for private events that include a meal and characters.

I think $80 IS WAY TOO MUCH TO SPEND ON BREAKFAST!

That would make sense if they only thing they are purchasing is breakfast. To many, exclusive access to Anna and Elsa is going to be worth that kind of cash.
