Ankmal Kingdom Lodge savannah view question

We just booked a 2 bedroom villa at the animal Kingdom Lodge and had a question about the different savannah view rooms. Are different animals viewed in the different savannahs? The reservation agent recommended the Aushura savannah but I wasn't sure if that one was closest to the construction and what animals are viewed there. Could someone let me know what different animals are in the different areas and what one is furthest from the construction? Also how many floors are there and is it better to be higher up, or what floor would you suggest? I also remember reading about the "people pens" where you basically see people looking at the animals and not many animals themselves and I would like to try and avoid this as well. Thanks so much in advance!

Check out this thread -- Knavey posted some excellent info, including a list of all of the animals on the savannas. That's on page 2 of the thread. He also recommends which floor is best for each Savanna -- that is on page 2, as well.

You should not see any construction if you're on Arusha Savanna -- I believe Sunset Savanna is the only one that has construction views.

I think that people generally say Arusha Savanna is best, Uzima is next, and Sunset is the least desirable. (But that's all opinion, of course. And opinions can certainly vary.)

The AKV units in Jmabo Lodge are all 5th floor or 6th if concierge, but there are very few concierge units. As said it is only Sunset savanna that will look across to the construction for Kidani Village.
