Has anyone heard of this? My package thru AMEX
includes "preferred seating" at this. Where is it playing? We have two 10 year olds - is this a kid type show? We will be there the first week in May. Thanks!

<font face="Comic Sans MS"><font color=navy>Hi Mal, & welcome to the DIS ~

Animazement is a musical that includes the latest Disney classics - Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, & Pocahontas. It's in the amphitheater located in Fantasyland, near It's a Small World.

Is the preferred seating part of the package, or given as one of the options?

This show is for the young and old, and I think your whole family will enjoy it.

Like MaryJo said, it's in the amphitheater in Fantasyland, near it's a small world. I think they offer a few showtimes during the day (not at night), and it runs about 30 minutes. It's a really cute production--you will enjoy it. :)

My travel agent was unclear on the "preferred seating". She thought it might even be an area to stand in, not a particular seat assignment. The AMEX White Glove Package has this included, we did not specify it as an option. I have not received my documents yet as we are not going until May. It sounds like a great show, my kids love that kind of stuff. Thanks for all the input.

We really enjoyed this show. It actually runs 22.5 minutes (just a little trivia I learned and crazily remember from our last trip - we asked the CM while we waited). The theater is next to Small World at the entrance to Toontown, and is huge. We waited for about 20 minutes to be the first in, but there were great seats to be had right until the show started. Keep in Mind in May it will only play Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. They do about 5 shows a day, starting around noon and ending about 5:00. It features Little Mermaid, Belle, Pocahontas, Aladdin, Hunchback, Hercules, and Lion King. Try not to miss it!

Thanks so much for all the input. We will definately see the show. When I get my documents I'll know more about the seating and post any info. This is such a great site to learn all the "tips". About 5 years ago I found an Expdia Theme Park Forum about WDW and used it for 8 months before our trip. It made our trip much more organized and therefore more enjoyable. Is this the same group of Disney fans that started the Expedia Forum?
