Animator's Palette show dinner on 7-night

Hi,

We are going on the 7-night eastern cruise in December. We missed the AP show dinner on our last cruise and want to make sure we don't miss it this time. If I schedule our Palo dinner later in the week would be safe?

They always do the show on your first night in AP. Either Sat, Sun or Mon depending on your rotation. Check your key to the world card which lists your dinner rotation. If you want to early book, then selecting Tues or later is a safe bet.

I thought I read that they do the shows on Sat,Mon and Wed. I was planning on making my Palo reservation for Sunday which is the formal night menu.

Does anyone know which is correct?

It was on our first night at Animators', I believe it was on a Sunday or Monday.

I think it can depend on the rotation. When DW and I went on our honeymoon on the Magic in 2008, our first night in AP was formal night and they did not do the show, it was done the second time we got into AP. That was a day at sea and was a bit rough...the restaurant was very empty only 2 people out of the 8 at the table next to us showed up and they took 'to-go' order back to their stateroom for the rest of the family. the dining room was so empty, we were done with everything including deserts very early and the head server came around asking us to stay for the end of the show so there woul still be people in the restaurant at the end.
It might be worth checking a recent set of 7-night navigators to make sure, it'll say on there if the show is happening that night in the restaurant.

I would also like to know the answer to this question? I suppose we will find out soon enough when the Magic comes home for the 7 nights again with the new Villains show.

I have booked a PALO reservation for Thursday night on a 7 day eastern but I want to make sure that won't interfere with AP show because I don't want my DF's family to miss it.

I believe the new show will be on Sunday like the Golden Mickeys and has its own menu so that might throw off the rotational menus a bit. If you have the LAP rotation then the first night in AP wont be the show if the Villains show is Sunday night I would think? Or I say another poster had said the show will be on Monday night and in that case if you have the PLA rotation then the AP show won't be on Monday it would be on Thursday which is when we has reserved PALO...hmmmm
