I do like it and agree some Florida exclusives would be nice- but I suspect that WDW gets more visitors than DLR so they put a few more fun things there- and since they keep adding more they get more since it works

I also think they should do major tie-ins with Disney products like dvd's and cd's released- talk about increase some sales of those items by putting a virtual code inside...

When I first saw that it was a quest item, I thought, Yay!! I will be down at WDW in about a month and I will surely get one. However, yet again, another DL exclusive. Why don't they just put it in both parks?? They would get even MORE visiters that way! I don't get it...

This is a MUST HAVE for me. (and I don't have many must haves, lol). I will be collecting as much rare stuff the next few weeks to be able to trade for one. Once it starts to circulate into the virtual world that is...

Maybe I will be able to obtain one by my birthday . (yeah right, LOL )

Same thing like me katashus. Except...I was ACTUALLY sitting inside the DCA animation building watching the movie montages. I'm trying to limit my DLR visits, but they keep on pulling me back in!

Yep, add me to the list of "Please oh please gift me one or trade with me without taking everything I have!" Darn my love of items like this; when WDW released a jumbo pin in March that looked kind of like that (except it was just the desk part, not the feet and all), I skipped my planned tour of the Daytona track to get to WDW a bit quicker and duck in Pin Traders in DTD in hopes that they had 1 left. Just my luck, they had maybe 5 left (it was only an edition size of 750 and it had been released maybe 3 days earlier). Me and my animation love.

Shoot... I'd rather have that desk than inferno. I've tried that out different times in the Spell Room, and it's just not "all that" to me. Darn you DCA! Darn you!

And hey, WDW does have the AK quest all their own.

*sigh* I get frustrated sometimes with all the things that are so exclusive, like the stitch and AK. Like all the good stuff is unavalible to most people. Why don't they do more tie-ins with things like videos, like with Herbie? That way they are kind of rare, promote Disney, and are easier to get for us who live in the middle of nowhere.

Yes WDW has Thrill seekers but DLR has celebration in the Park.

Yes the wanted posters are WDW exclusive, but their counterpart at DLR is the magic mirror. DLR has the 50th quest and WDW has the Thrill Seeker. This gives people a better chance at trading for a quest item only available at one of the parks. DLR has had the Gold Monster Doors, Stitch Set, and now the Animators Desk, with no WDW equivalent. ( have there been others too? )

I agree it would be nice if they offer a park exclusive item at DLR they would have another item available at WDW at the same time.

I guess it's just a matter of "We want what we cant get."

Mirror = Wanted Poster, ok, good point
50th = Thrill Seekers, no. I have to argue on that one. The Animal Kingdom Lodge can only be received at WDW. And that room is SWEET. The Tent room at DLR can be obtained through the game.

Anyway... I think this is their way of getting people to go across the way to DCA. Just like they put the Electric Light Parade there, so people would go.
