Well, let's all hope that these desk's will be easy to obtain with the help of our west coast friends. With one person selling 18 of them, it sounds similar to the gold teleporters that were once available.

Hey Mal, can we start a gift thread over on the trade and wishes boards for those of us who cannot get to Disneyland for these new desks?

Well.....no go at DCA today. Cards are not available yet. Went to the Animation building asked around inside and got the usual "I have no idea what you are talking about, or Yes I've heard of it, but I know NOTHING" answers. Was referred to Guest Relations for answers.......and on my way there I passed the Information Stand and saw Lady B chatting with the castmember. She also got the same info I got, but unfortunately had a very rude castmember she had spoken to. The info cast member was all over the phone calling the VMK kiosk (no answer), guest relations, etc. It was finally determined that no, the cards are not out yet. And No, we don't know when they will be, but to watch the VMK website or call the information number. In other words, we will probably hear from one of our fellow dis members way before DL and DCA know anything!! hahaha
But at least I got to run into Lady B and chat for a while..........

Hula had one in her game room today. It's adorable. I only hope I can get one eventually.

On my first try in the room, people were asking about the desk so much that I got DC before I got to play the game. Second time hula accidently offered the girl the pin or credits, which caused confusion, and the girl was asking which pin it was and I got DC again. She should've read the room description. Oh well. I had both the prizes anyway, just wanted extra for trading.

I got to sit at one of the 2 in Fin's room last night.

Yeah, I was there yesterday too and I directly asked the staff at the VMK kiosk and they said that it wasn't out yet and would be "sometime this week." Which kind of upsets me because my pass is blacked out all the rest of this week, and given what happened with the Monsters Inc. doors, they'll probably run out of them before I have an opportunity to go back.

Please be patient you have asked at least twice on the Gift thread and now once here.


A gift thread is just that, a gift, hopefully you will get one but there is no guarantee. The more you ask the less likely you are to receive one I would think.

Your best bet would be to try and get one yourself and wait to be gifted if all else fails.
