Or maybe you're just lying and you have magical powers :stir: :wizard: :scared1:

:rolleyes1 Anyways, I think they may want to limit the amount of cards like 3-5 per household.

not sure what you mean by maybe I am just lying???

This is frustrating. My neighbor just returned from DLR and I, of course, sent them on the VMK tour to pick up everything they could get. CMs told them they had to be "picked" to be in the show to get the cards. They went through the show once as this is not so easy with 3 kids. Then the older son tried several times to get more cards and was never successful with jusk asking for one.

They were also told all golden mickey ears cards have been yanked due to a virus with the codes.

:confused3

Got another neighbor going to DLR tomorrow. Going to have her try also. :thumbsup2 So we shall see.

That really does bite, I hate how they are so inconsistant with how they give these out.

Some one per person, some 50 to one and some none at all!!!!

I do not mind people getting multiples in fact I have no problem with that at all but I don't like that one person could get 50 at one time I think that will only hurt everyone else in the long run.

I agree. Well, I guess I can hope they are still doing the desk cards when I go to DLR in September to run the 5K. Then I will have one more "must do". My husband will love that. :lmao:

When someone said it was anyomonous (sp?) you said because you knew who wrote it. But, you could have magical powers... :wizard: :teeth:

No I did not say I knew who wrote it I said I knew who the gifters were because they are either giving me the items to gift out or gifting themselves and then telling me who was gifted so I can remove them from the list.

no lies and no magic.

I said I knew who the gifters were because they are either gifting to me and I am giving them out or they gift to the person and then let me know so I can remove them from the list. So they will not be gifted twice.

no lies no magic.

I can't imagine anyone sitting through the show 50 times either although it might make sense for a family to attend multiple times. A family of four could get 48 cards after 12 shows without asking for extras. Okay, that's way too boring too. Maybe a group of 10 friends would go to 5 shows.

With a little cleverness, it could be fairly easy to get 50 cards in a short period. If I attended the show, I would be asking everyone there to get the cards and give them to me if they don't play VMK. If I had a partner in crime, one of us could wait near the entrance to let people know they should get the free card. I suspect I could amass 50 cards fairly fast if the cards were available. I guess this would be using real life mules. :confused3

That's not to say that anyone has done this, I'm just suggesting some possible ways to get 50 cards that don't involve a cast member handing you a pile of them or you grabbing a pile of them.

That said, I agree that there is a huge amount of unfairness in the way the cards are being distributed. That's not the fault of the people getting the cards though. I admit to getting more cards than I was supposed to when I was at WDW last summer. The only difference was, the cards were available for everyone. The best solution is to have more than enough cards in my not so humble opinion.

DCA has established a policy on distribution of these cards. One card per visit to the Animation Building.
