Animation Academy building is closed

Just a heads up, but the large, wonderfully air conditioned building in DCA that houses Animation Academy, Turtle Talk with Crush, Sorcerer’s Workshop and Beast’s Library is closed, likely through the end of the month (according to the CM we asked today). Bummer as this is such a great place to cool off in the heat we’ve been having the last few weeks.

Animation Academy and Turtle Talk With Crush are still open, but you have to queue up outside (in the heat ).

So the cast member standing outside the building told us it was due to “construction” and that they were replacing the large video screens and lights and doing other work. He said it was a “hard hat” zone right now.

Is this all true? I can’t say. When is the next Oogie Boogie party, I guess we’ll find out then.

At the party now and can confirm the treat trail inside the building is open.
