Animated Avatar

I have been trying all day, with no luck, to get an animated avatar.

I think I've come to the conclusion, after removing frames and resizing, that animated avatars just aren't allowed on the Disboards.

Can anyone (i.e., HELP, tech support) confirm this? If so, I'd hate to keep wasting time on trying to figure out how to do it!

They are allowed but the 4k is very hard to get under even when removing frames and resizing.
