We have resevations at AKL savannah view for three days in the beginning of December. What are our chances of seeing animals from our room? How often; how many? What are the thoughts of the AKL veterans? Thanks.

If you have a savanna view room booked then you will be able to see animals from your balcony. They are the most active in the early morning and late afternoon into the early evening.
We have stayed at the AKL four times so far and have enjoyed each of our stays. We should be back at the AKL for our fifth stay this coming Jan 2005.
you can also see them after dark as the grounds are lit with artificial "moonlight" at night. Sitting on the balcony drinking coffee in the am was an unbelievable experience for me. Have fun
That is a great picture. It looks like you were on the Kudu Trail with a view of the Sunset Savanna. We like the view of the Arusha Savanna as that is the only one that has zebra.
Both times we stayed at AKL we saw tons of animals from our room. We we on the kudo trail overlooking the arusha savannah. I especially liked to go out at night, very quiet and peaceful.
