I forget the name of the location, but in the back of the park, between the Allura show and The Terrace restaurant, there is a barn that advertises photo ops with animals. We saw that on the map and went there, only to see a lonely horse (not a clydesdale, just a regular horse) that we could stand in front of for a picture. We had to walk back through the barn later and saw a parrot taking pictures with people.

I'm just wondering if they used to have more exotic or interesting animals to take pictures with and maybe they stopped doing it for safety reasons? Have you had your picture taken back there with anything interesting? Just curious...thanks!

There are photo ops with exotic animals during the "Wild Things" show that is put on throughout the day in the barn. You may have noticed a sign outside the barn saying what times the wild things show was. You may have gone in between shows when they had a photo op with the horse. Some of the animals include a parrot, and sometimes cool animals like a small monkey or an anteater.

We had out pic taken in there with a skunk (he was thankfully descented).

DD had her photo taken with a Clydesdale a few years ago. I didn't realise there were often more unusually animals in there - we'll have to check that out in October. :)

It used to be only clydesdales in the barn, with the one donkey. But because of the sale of the parks, the Bud Horses are gone. Its an outside group that brings the animals in daily, and while talking to one of the girls there, she said she didn't think they'd be there much longer.

We were there a couple weeks ago, and they had this little critter, and they were taking pics, or would take one with your camera:

that a cotton top tamerin. They used to have them next to the tree of life sign, but they're smart little ones and would get out on occasion from their little island. Very cute though.

We were there yesterday....placed was PACKED  such a different experience than our previous one. The barn is called Hamlet it just had the 2 horses..that was it. Hope that helps.

They had this little fellow when we were there last Monday:

Sure - the whole family can and the adventure photo people would like to take a beautiful picture (for a fee) for you. They don't have any problem with others taking photos though.

Wow! They didn't have those animals when we were there - or maybe we just went at the wrong time! We'll have to try it again on our next trip.
