My family has been to AK several times and we really enjoy it. But doing everything there at a relaxed pace never takes us more than half a day. I have read many other posts where others say the same.

But I have read some posts where people say they can spend all day exploring trails and animals and such. Well, what are we missing? I thought we were exploring all the trails, but we must be missing something because by lunch we are headed out feeling like we've done everything. If we've been missing something I want to know what it is and do it! Can those of you that have this experience - all day at AK - help me to enjoy the same experience?

My kids could spend all day just playing in the Boneyard. We were there until after the parade last year and still didn't fit in Tarzan, Lion King or the show with the birds and we were there before opening.

We do AK at a moderate pace and we still can't do "everything" in 1 day. Do you take the time to see the shows? Including the Flights of Wonder-- which is often overlooked. How about taking the train to Conservation Station? Also, taking time to enjoy the street entertainment like Devine or the drummers (sorry don't know their name)?

If you only did the big ones, Safari, Kahli River Rapids, Dinosaur, Tough to be a Bug, Lion King Show, it should still take you to way after lunch. Figure in a relaxing meal at noonish and now you should be at 2 p.m. bare minimum. Plus shopping, the railroad to the gorilla trail......now your at 3 p.m........
