Animal kingdom

What are your thoughts on animal kingdom? Stay til 6pm? Or leave after my last FP?

Here are my plans.

EMH are 8am-9am
Ride as much as possible til 10:15am
Tuskar House reservation 10:50am
11:55-12:55 FP for the Kilimanjaro safari
1:25-2:25 FP Expedition Everest
2:25-3:25 FP Dinosaur


I plan on going to MK the rest of the night (open til 11pm).

We never wait to leave DAK until closing time.
We hop to another park about an hour, or so before closing to avoid the rush.

But, exiting by 3:00 is a bit early if you want to maximize your DAK time.
There are so many things do do and see at DAK.

Animal Kingdom is my favorite park. so much to do, that I think you should stay.

Taking the 2 walking tours
Everything is wonderful and exciting to see.

I usually don't stay until close either. I'd head to MK around 5-ish or whenever you're ready to leave.

Depending on when you go though there may be more of a reason to stay. Rivers of Light starts April 22. No word on the other night-time activities yet.

I would probably end up there closer to closing time - I like all the trails, etc, exploring the tree of life and seeing what you can find. I don't know if you have kids, that's a piece of it too, because going to the Conservation Station and Boneyard take up a while. The shows there are great, I love Flights of Wonder (if it's open when you go) and FOLK, A Bug's Life is cute (after you actually get it, I hate the waiting area). I know some people don't think it's a full day park, but I totally do.

You haven't built in any time for wildlife trails or shows. Don't overlook those aspects of AK. And if you build those into your schedule, you can easily stay until an hour before closing.

This is the single biggest reason for going to AK.....IMHO. This, and the tigers:

I would ride what I can ride without FP+ and save them for MK. Is this a Saturday or a Monday EMH?
