Animal Kingdom Wedding???

Hi everyone. First time posting on these boards. I have booked the Animal Kingdom park for my wedding next October. I have searched on the DIS boards and tried Google, but the only info I am seeing on AK wedding were from 2 years ago. Has anyone seen anything recently? Thanks so much for your help.

Are you referring to my AK reception at FOLK? Where are you going to have your Ceremony and Reception? What time of year is it?

Not that much has changed there over the last 2 years—is there anything in particular you'd like to know about?

You may want to poke around in the Planning Journal sub forum, too. There are a few AK brides in there.

My wedding is going to be in the Tamu Tamu courtyard with the reception at the Dawa bar next October 25th. I just wanted to read about any other brides experiences and possibly see pictures.

I dont think I've ever seen a Tamu Tamu ceremony on here (only receptions) and I know I've never seen a Dawa Bar event. If you search by Tamu Tamu, you should find some things (DJ DisneyKid had his reception there a few months ago and shared pictures).

I was going to suggest DjDis too, the pictures were beautiful. Tamu Tamu is so pretty.

Thanks so much everyone. I saw the few pictures on the Disney.com website and just wanted to get more of an idea about the look so I would know if I needed a lot of flowers at the reception.

The Roots photos are terrific - too bad I can't use them. I really like their photography.

Thanks Caroline! Time is flying by now! I will definitely get you some pictures when it is all said and done. I can't believe we are only 4 weeks away!
