we have 1 and a half days to split between the two. Going w tween /young teen kids. Where would u spend your full day and where you half (9-1:30 ish) I have enjoyed both in the past. Trying to decide to make reservations and FP decisions
Thx

I would full day at EPCOT and half-day at Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom is my favorite, but if you plan your FP strategically at AK, you can get a lot done. For example, I had to leave by 12 last week. The park opened at 9 a.m. In 3 hours, I went on the Safari, Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest, and saw Festival of the Lion King. Now, if you are going when Pandora is open, that might change the decision. EPCOT is a full day park for me.

Wow, that's a tough one because those are my 2 favorite parks. Since I like AK better, I'd be tempted to make Epcot my 1/2 day park and make AK my full day park. But in Epcot, I really only like WS and that doesn't open until 11:00, so 1/2 day at Epcot WS only gives you 2 1/2 hours. Tough one-flip a coin?

I agree with doing the full day at EPCOT and the half day at AK, but they both have a lot to offer! My family has always done half a day at AK and sometimes even more then a day at EPCOT, and we were able to experience everything!

You don't say when you're going, but if it's after May 27th (Pandora) I would do AK for the full day, plus I think there's more things there for the kids. You can RD EPCOT and hit all the main attractions (with the help of FP+) by lunchtime. Now if you want to see WS, well that may be an issue because of the 11:00 am opening time.

We use to do AK in a 1/2 day but lately (even before the new stuff) we have been spending more and more time there. Good luck, I think it's a win / win situation whichever you choose.

So a draw
Going in march. Staying at Waldorf Astoria. I think there is a shuttle

If you have park hoppers, consider this: start your first full day at AK and stay till about 2-3pm (or until you are done with the park) then hop over to Epcot for WS/dinner. Use the half day to tour FW in Epcot. We did something similar on our last trip and it worked out quite nicely. Be warned though - a day of AK and WS is a LOT of walking.

Full day at AK and half day at Epcot. AK is one of our favorite parks, and it has my 13yo's favorite ride (Everest).

I vote for AK full day. I have found that a number of early teens are not as enamored with World Showcase as adults tend to be. Knock out the main attractions in Future World starting at rope drop and skip the Showcase. The full day at AK would be more action packed.

AK full day! Much more to see and do for kids than EPCOT. AK you have shows, animals and rides. EPCOT fun for my 11 yr old ends after Test Track and Soarin....add FEA and Nemo and my 5 yr old is done too!
