Just a quick question, with the new 100 point buy in, and that Saratoga Springs is getting close to selling out....how long till AKV will be sold out?
We would like to do an add on, but would have to do it on our next vacation (Saskatchewan Canada can't do it from home). Also will our June use year still be available. Maybe a silly question, but you all probably know more or can at least find out where you live. Thanks in advance for all the help!

Hello, Farmboy from Saskatchewan. I went through this too debate recently, as I'm from Canada as well (Manitoba isn't reg'd either). AKV will be selling for years, so you're safe. AKV is a large resort. If it was SSR, which has been selling for 5 years now - and is almost sold out as of today - that would be a worry.

I was thinking I'd do AKV while I was down there last, but chose to get another SSR add-on instead.

You're welcome, farmboy! It isn't easy getting info on DVC being in un-reg'd provinces. www.dvcnews.com is the main way I get my info, aside from very frequent visits to DL and WDW (I always stop in on my guide, Sue Saunders, every time I visit WDW).

I guess stopping in and seeing our guide is the only way to get information. When we bought last time from our other guide who has since left. I made a point of asking if we would be able to talk on the phone about add ons and such if we purchased and he said there would be no problem once there was a business relationship. Only to come home and phone DVC and find out that is not the case at all. No information could be given on anything at all. Makes it tough to plan.

When you find the answer to this question, can you pass it on! I seem to have the same problem and I just added on at AKV this week.
