Does anyone know what time the Vet Surgery cases usually are at the AK?

I don't know of any exact times, but I believe they tend to be earlier in the day. I visited AK for the first time last year and by the time I found the vet area it was well into the afternoon and I had missed anything they'd done. Oh well, just another excuse to go again.:earsboy:

They post them daily. We were told on our last visit that they are usually all scheduled before for early in the day.

They're scheduled early in the day around 9-11am. The last time we went, it was around 10:30 and we saw one of the new goats being neutered. Very :scared1: but interesting and neat to see at the same time.

last trip we got there for RD and got FP for safari then headed over to that area. It ws supposed to start at 10 but didnt start closer to after 11. It was nice not having many people there early.
So just keep in mind they dont always start when they say they will.

Head out there first thing when Conservation Station opens around 9:30. I would ride one of the headliners, get a FP for the other, and then go to CS. I did this on my last trip and we got to watch them do an intake exam on a new Ring Tail Lemur (but he didn't have a tail! He lost it somehow before he came to AK!)

That was pretty awesome to witness.

Hope you get something really exciting, maroo. We love Rafiki's place and everything about Conservation Station. So many people don't pay attention to it or even realize it is there.

My tiger-loving DH (who happens to be a dentist) would absolutely FLIP if he saw this when we are there! "Help with tiger dental surgery" is somewhere on his unofficial bucket list. Seriously.

Thanks for the visuals. I think I'm going to make sure that after EE and the Safari, we head to that area. Our whole family loves animals.

Anyone know if the park CMs can call/radio out to Conservation Station to see what they have planned? Or is it posted at the front of the park somewhere?

Guest Relations at the front of the park is supposed to get the daily schedule, but I've been told they may not have it yet at park opening.

Amazing pictures!!!!!!!!!!!I will admit that even as a Disney Veteran I was unaware how much is actually out there at the conservation station. I always read that it was a "waste of time" when making my touring plans never included it! :scared1: Now i am sooo sad that we have missed out on this all this time!!!

I will deff deff deff be heading out there this year, esp since my DD is only 4 and cant ride EE and we do not ride Dinosaur (that ride scares the crap outta me! haha) so I am going to remake our touring plans to get safari FP and look at the show schedules (Nemo is a must for us! what a great show)

I am sooooo excited to check this out, hope they have something cool going on in there when we visit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
