Animal Kingdom today?

And even worse thing about it is complaining to guest relations really won't do anything. They can't fix it or get the time back or give more time. It's an awful situation for them and the guest.

It is an awful situation, but i don't agree that there is nothing theycan do. Years ago, we attended a MVMCP, during which it rained heavily most of the night. Despite their policy, people who complained got their money back.

Personally I think that's ridiculous. Disney can't control weather. A ride being down is one thing but complaining about weather to get a refund is just crazy to me.

Agreed, but that's what they did. We didn't think to ask about a refund, but when Disney breaks their own policy, it creates bad feelings for other guests who paid their money and received a lesser product due to cancelled shows and parades.

So people get a refund off one ride being down even though they got to spend the day in the park and do everything else? That just really is a tad over the top to me. More than a tad. I get being out the ride, I am. We are not going to be able to get back over there today, not without giving up too much of our last day to traveling between parks.

How frustrating for those impacted. Maybe they'll do a proper refurb to correct the issue once some of the other new attractions are completed (she says without any basis for such speculation).

Sorry for your experience OP. That would be very frustrating. Thanks to those who posted about the hopper fix. We will be there next Fri on our second to last park day on non-hoppers. It's good to know what's possible if we run into a similar situation.

Did the FP availability come back for rides other than Navi today?

Just to be clear, the situation I'm referring to involved the Christmas party. If my memory is correct, they cancelled 1 of the 2 parades and most if not all of the outdoor shows. We did not get our money back, nor did we stop at guest services. But the next day, we heard from several people who were either refunded the money or given tickets to the next party night.

I did notice that AK did have FP later in the day. Didn't check too see what all they were, just that it was no longer greyed out
