Hi all!

Could someone describe how we can do this by bus? It's my thought that you would take a Fort Wilderness bus from Animal Kingdom, but then transfer to another bus. Could someone describe how this would work? Thanks!!

Does this sound right? From Animal Kingdom, take a bus to Fort Wilderness. You would be dropped off at the Outpost Depot. Once there, transfer to another bus to the Settlement Depot.

Does that sound right? Which bus should we take to the Settlement Depot (i.e. purple, orange or yellow)? Thanks for any info!!

There are a couple (maybe more) of ways to do this:
  1. As you describe, bus to FW and then internal bus back to Pioneer Hall
  2. Bus to Contemporary and then boat to FW (dock is a very short walk to HDD) or Bus to MK and then boat to FW would work too.

Theres also a bus from WL to the Settlement.

That bypasses the Outpost? I've actually never been to FW, but I was under the impression that buses go to the Outpost, then you have to take an internal bus to get to Pioneer Hall. I've always heard then that to get to Pioneer Hall it's easier to take a boat because the dock is just a short walk to PH.

if you bus from AK to the Fort, you might end up with a stop at Wilderness Lodge on the way to the Fort. they sometimes share buses. as for the color of campground bus, I would take the first one that is going to the other end. one sometimes just doe the cabins and back to front. so just ask driver if going to the settlement. only one color goes to WL but I do not remember which one as we never used it. the boats either from Contemp or MK, both come to the dock that is a short walk to Hoop

first bus that comes to Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge or Magic Kingdom and then the boat to FW is the best route. Internal bus at FW takes a long time.
