Animal Kingdom to AKL and back... walkable?

I'm sure that's a dumb question, but I'm full of them!! I have more than 6 months to plan, so it's going to be very detailed. Haha.

Anyway, I'd really like to check out AKL and maybe eat there. It makes the most sense to me to do this the day I'm @ AK... can I easily walk there? Are there paths?

No, you can't walk. It is forbidden. But you could hop on the AKL bus and do it that way.

It's not a dumb question! But no, you have to take the bus.

As the pp's said, walking is not possible and you have to take the bus.

It really is a short bus trip between AK & AKL and a great way for you to see a wonderfully themed deluxe resort with plenty of great food options.

You most likely find some way along your planning will find out how huge Disney really is.....and how many roads it takes to get around it.

There are great places for walking, I.e., BW to Epcot or DHS. But AK to AKL is not one of them. I suggest you select Google Earth or download some maps from this site to look at the ways to get from place to place. Or check out the transportation board.

Thanks all! I knew there were other resorts that were walkable from rhe parks and that is my preferred transportation mode so u figured I'd ask!
