open til 11pm?? Is this for real or a misprint?? As an AK fan, I love it!! Plus it will pull a few guests away from some other parks hopefully reducing crowd levels at all of them. Your take?

I hope they have added in more than a water show and night time safari if they are going to stay open this late. I love AK (my 2nd fav park) but there isn't much to do that would take all day there.

We went this past October and got there at 9am opening. By noon we had done Kilimanjaro Safari, Everest twice, Dinosaur, Kali, Its Tough to be a Bug, shopped, took in some sights, and had a snack. We left the park before 12:30pm that day. It was sooooo empty. Walking from Africa to Asia we didn't see a single other person until we got close to Everest.

Nice we went in October and did the same, stayed to watch Nemo and regretted it as when we got out if the show the park was a full gong show.

I'm super annoyed. Hours in late August and early September are still "normal". I'm hoping they change and add late days. We were really looking forward to something different at AK.

I'm in the camp of hoping AK hours for late Setember change, too. Not expecting 11:00 but later than 5:00 would be nice! I'm trying to find a day to go to AK but can't find a good day that works with our schedule yet. Hoping to add it on to an evening after epcot for F&W.

Don't worry-5:00 closings at DAK are gone for good.

I am going first week of August. I have 6:45pm dining reservations for Yay & Yeti but AK hours still show 5pm for closing.

Wish they would change the hours before I do FP's.
