My family's favorite show of everything at the World is FOTLK! That being said, I think Nemo and Flights of Wonder are not to be missed, either. I like It's a Bug's Life, but I know it can frighten little kids. (Can't remember if you mentioned the ages of your kids)

Yes, Lion King is a MUST! we go to see it every time we are there! this time we need fast passes for it...BLAH! these are some very talented people and the music is FANTASTIC! Nemo is cute but really just for small kids.

I've seen Nemo about 10 times more than I've seen FoTLK!!! We love Nemo. I'm in the minority, but other than the nutty monkeys, I don't much care about FoTLK. I try to see it every few years...especially if I'm traveling with someone new to WDW. But, I do Nemo every single time I'm in WDW!

We LOVE Flights of Wonder and FOTLK - they are both can't miss in our book. We saw Nemo once and that was enough. It was good but we'd rather see the others again. Same thing with Dinosaur, did it once and that was enough. And we don't do Everest either We love the slower pace at AK!

It can be a toss-up between FotLK and Nemo, but I really love both of them. And I can't understand why Nemo is "more for small children" - it is loooong for a small child's attention span. The quality of the production, though, LOVE IT.

FoW is definitely not to be missed as well. We were pleasantly surprised when we finally saw it a few years ago and now try to see it every trip!

IMHO the best show at AK hands down is LION KING! I consider this a must-see for any visit to AK, the show is about 30 minutes and is essentially a musical-style show with performers/actors, singers, dancers, aerialists, themed festival floats, etc..

Honestly both are really, really good. Probably the best 2 shows in all of WDW. Both are inside, dark and plenty of AC. I would make it a priority to do both...

Thanks everyone! My kids will be 11 months and almost 5 when we go! I am def going to try to do all three shows if possible but def Lion King and Flights of Wonder.

I love Lion King and finally saw Nemo for the first time this past trip. I fell asleep during it and the parts I did see weren't great. Of course they kept having technical difficulties at Lion King while we were there so both times we waited in line for it we ended up being turned away.

FotLK is my favorite WDW show. It's great for children. I saw Nemo for the first time last year, and it was good, but not as great as FotLK. I will probably be skipping Nemo this year.

I love them both. The thing about Nemo is that there are so many scenes where there is a lot going on and it's fun on repeated viewings seeing puppets/interactions that you didn't notice the first time. FotLK is essentially a circus show, but well done. Nemo is in a theatre with comfy seats, FotLK is on bleachers but is more interactive. I'd hate to miss either of them. Next trip we'll have to catch Flights of Wonder, its never worked its way into our itinerary yet.
