Animal kingdom ???'s

Just booked Animal Kingdom for our trip got some ??'s Can we get to Animal Kingdom park from hotel fairly easy?? Is it a Walk?
Can anyone recommend a restaraunt there? Thanks

Hi,

The AKL is great. We have stayed there three times now and just love this resort. All transportation from the resort to the parks is via bus. The bus ride from the AKL to the AK is very short but you cannot walk from the lodge to the park. The bus transportation is great from the AKL over three trips we have never waited more then 10mins for a bus even though they tell you to expect up to a 20min wait.

Restaraunts - There are two sit down places. Boma and Jiko. Boma is open for breakfast and dinner and is a buffet. Jiko is just open for dinner and is more of a highend place. There is also a quick service food court type place called Mara that is open from about 6am till 11pm or Midnight. We thought the food there was pretty good for a food court.

Boma is GREAT we ate there for 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners during our stay there. You'll love it.

PS can I hide in your suitcase?

Just ate at Mara tonight using my Quick & Casual vouchers. Pretty good food, large quantity. I had a double bacon cheeseburger with fries. DH had the fish and chips combo. I was very pleased. Hope you enjoy!
