Animal Kingdom Restaurant Reminder!

I always forget that the Animal Kingdom restaurant drinks don't have lids and straws. Now that my kids are older (10 and 20), it really doesn't cause a problem. When they were younger, the lids and straws would have come in handy. I always took in my own cups with screw top lids and straws. Just wanted to pass this along to those newbies and the ones who might have forgot.

I wish we had gotten this reminder the first week of May Haha!

We were very surprised and it was ok for us and DS9 but DS4 was a pain about it and I have been trying to do less and less sippy cups I did not bring any to the park with us.

One thing though they did allow juice bags (Capri Suns) with the straw attached. No one say anything at security or to us as we were in the park with them. We only found out about the rule when we went to eat at Pizzafari and DH was asking for straws.

Whenever I think of it, I always bring my own straw to AK and security's never stopped me or taken my straw.

We buy reusable/disposable sippy cups for our kids (5&3) disney themed and use them throughout the trip. We threw out 1 because it didn't get washed in a timely manner, but we still have the others. Quite handy and practical.

for those of you that use sippy cups...i got a big box of 36 with lids (the kind they have at walmart that can be thrown away or washed) for 9.99 at BIG LOTS great deal....my dd2 looses them all the time lol

We went to Boma with DS at 12 months for the first time and they gave him milk in a disposable coffee cup - the kind with the sippy-ish lid. No problems whatsoever (it actually turned out to be a handy tidbit of information to know when he was smaller!)
