Animal Kingdom RD Strategy?

I think I know the answer to this, but I wanted to get the opinions of the experts here...

If we rope drop Animal Kingdom and head right to Kilimanjaro Safaris, I'm hoping we can be out of there before 9:30. We've got a 9:25-10:25 FP+ at EE, but we're going to rider switch so our group will need to go through twice.

Any chance of making it back to the Festival of the Lion King show at 10 am?

That would be tight. Remember, Safari is a fairly long ride...don't know the exact number of minutes, but it's a solid 20 I'd guess. Then hoof it over to EE, go through twice, then try to head down to Lion King. You may make it, but you'd be the last ones in, I'd guess.

Would the second group using the rider swap pass be willing to ride later in the day? If so the first group can ride EE after Safari during your FP+ window, you will get the rider swap pass when they enter the queue. Then after group 1 gets off the ride you can all head to FOTLK. Then later on, at your group's leisure, the other folks can ride EE using the rider swap pass you already obtained.

Yeah, that's the only way this could possibly work. And I'm even doubtful that OP could make the 10am LK show doing it this way. It's a long way to walk.

We usually do the Safari first thing and then go straight to FOTK 10:00 show. We usually get there about 9:40 or 9:45 just in time for them to start letting everyone into the theatre.

I agree with this, I personally would go to FOTLK at 10 and change the EE FP for later closer to noon
